Can Aave tokens in cooldown period be sold and used as part of safety module?

I am currently working with Aave tokens and I am wondering if it is possible to sell tokens that are in the 7-day cooldown period and use them as part of the safety module.

Cooldown period affects stkAAVE tokens, so those are not AAVE but stkAAVE tokens, and after 10 days cooldown there are 2 days unstaking period when its possible to swap those stkAAVE into AAVE.
