Are there any guides or examples I could reference for how to sign a message?

I have been looking for tools/guides for calling the SupplywithPermit function for Aave v3 pool and I thought I would ask for help in here since i could not find anything else. I was able to get the approve and supply working but rather than processing two transactions and paying twice as many fees I am trying the "signed message" option however i am having trouble setting up the code to get the V R S params.

To use the permit method youll need to generate the data to sign, sign with the wallet, then pass this signature into the supplyWithPermit function. There is an example of this in the aave-ui repo here;
